29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): Frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials, and equipment, by competent persons designated by the employer, did not identify hazardous conditions;    (a) Bridge Street Middle School - On or about 12/5/19, an employee was operating a JLG 460SJ boom lift with a sheet of plywood attached to the basket which increased the surface area exposed to wind, exposing employees to fall, struck-by, and caught-in hazards. This jobsite inspection by a competent person did not uncover this condition.       Among other methods, feasible and acceptable means to abate the hazardous condition include:  1) Removing the plywood and not increasing the surface area of the platform or load per the operators manual.   2) Attaching protective coverings on building instead of the aerial lift.

(a) Bridge Street Middle School - On or about 12/5/19, employees were drilling into brick and mortar using a handheld drill without a shroud and dust collection system, exposing employees to respiratory hazards.
