29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation shall be protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with paragraph (b) or (c) of this section:   On or about January 9, 2020, during the installation of a storm sewer line at a worksite located at 21012 Hilliard Blvd, Rocky River, Ohio, the employer did not ensure an employee working inside a trench, with a depth of approximately 7.5 to 8 feet deep and was protected from cave-ins by an adequately designed protection system.  The soil was classified as; Cohesive Soil or Loose Rock, Type B over Type C.
