29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:    a) On or about February 13, 2020, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that suitable facilities for flushing of the eyes were provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. Employees were exposed to eye injuries while handling used car batteries containing corrosive substances such as sulfuric acid. The shop does not have a suitable facility for quick flushing of the eyes. 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(C): Flexible cords and cables were run through doorways, windows, floors, or similar openings:    a) On or about February 13, 2020, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that flexible cords were not run through doorways or similar openings. Employees were exposed to contact with electrical hazards in that a flexible cord used to power a truck heating device was run through an opening on a garage door. The garage door opening had rough and sharp edges rubbing against the flexible cord. Listed or labeled equipment were not installed nor used in accordance with any instructions included in the listing or labeling:    a) On or about February 13, 2020, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that receptacles and wiring located within 8 feet of the floor did not had live parts exposed to employee contact. Employees were exposed to contact with electrical hazards in that receptacles located on the east and north walls of the main shop had damaged insulation at the point where the 120V live wires enter the receptacles.
