29 CFR 1910.133(a)(3): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee who wears prescription lenses while engaged in operations that involve eye hazards wears eye protection that incorporates the prescription in its design, or wears eye protection that can be worn over the prescription lenses without disturbing the proper position of the prescription lenses or the protective lenses. (a) On or about March 5, 2020, two employees in the C1 assembly area were wearing non-safety prescription glasses with side shields in the workplace where safety glasses were required.

29 CFR 1910.132(b): Employee-owned equipment. Where employees provide their own protective equipment, the employer shall be responsible to assure its adequacy, including proper maintenance, and sanitation of such equipment. (a) On or about March 5, 2020, an employee was wearing MPOW HM035A ear muffs that they had purchased themselves and the employer had not ensured that this employee owned equipment provided adequate protection.
