29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low sloped roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guard rail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. On the south side of the work site, employees engaged in roofing activities on a commercial building were not protected with the use of a flag system or personal fall arrest system and exposed to fall hazards of approximately 13 feet to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.602(c)(1)(vi): 29 CFR 1926.602(c)(1)(vi):Section 603E Industrial truck(s) American National Standards Institute, B56.1-1969, Safety Standards for Powered Industrial Trucks, as adopted by 29 CFR 1926.602(c)(1)(vi): When a truck was left unattended, load engaging means were not fully lowered, controls were not neutralized, power was not shut off, brakes were not set, and the key or connector plug was not removed. On the south side of the work site, the employer allowed the forklift with the forks elevated with roofing material to be unattended while installing roofing material on the roof.
