29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): (a) CHEMCORE INDUSTRIES OF GEORGIA, LLC, warehouses : On or about July 29th 2020, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards in that employees were allowed to operate forklifts at the jobsite to pull orders and they had not been properly trained by a competent person to evaluate and certify that the employees were operating in a safe manner.
