29 CFR 1910.255(b)(4): All press welding machine operations, where there was a possibility of the operator's fingers being under the point of operation, were not effectively guarded by use of a device such as electronic eye safety circuit, two hand control, or similar protection:   a)  Production Floor GYT-ON25 Right Side; On or about September 14, 2020, and at times prior; the employer exposed employees to crush/amputation hazards in that employees were allowed to operate a projection press welding machine where the point of operation was not provided with any type guarding such as an electronic eye safety circuit, two hand control, or other similar protection that would prevent employees hands/fingers from entering the point of operation.   b)  Production Floor GYT-ON25 Left Side; On or about September 14, 2020, and at times prior thereto the employer exposed employees to crush/amputation hazards in that employees were allowed to operate the projection press welding machine where the point of operation was not provided with any type guarding such as an electronic eye safety circuit, two hand control, or other similar protection that would prevent employees hands/fingers from entering the point of operation.
