29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): a) Big Sky Brewing Company: On or about November 18, 2020, and at times prior, employees were exposed to struck by hazards while operating forklifts when loading and unloading full and empty bottles and cans of beer for storage or transfer. The employer failed to ensure each operator was trained to operate the equipment with which they are working.
