29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employers shall provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new physical or health hazard the employees have not previously been trained about is introduced into their work area.   (a) Transportation Security Administration at Denver International Airport (DEN), 8500 Pena Blvd., Denver, CO  80249: On and before November 17, 2020,  the employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new physical or health hazard the employees have not previously been trained about is introduced into their work area.  Employees worked as Transportation Security Officers and used Equate Isopropyl Alcohol 70% to clean their workstations in the security area and in their breakroom. This condition exposed employees to chemical hazards associated with the use of chemicals such as, but not limited to, isopropyl alcohol.
