"Steep roofs." Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about 2/23/2021, employees from Drury Southwest, Inc. were removing roofing tiles from a building located at 4459 and 4465 North High Street in Jackson, MO. Seven employees were working near the edge of a roof, which was approximately eight to fifteen feet above the ground, without the use of guardrail systems with toe boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.
