29 CFR  1910.307(c)(3):The employer did not ensure that the equipment used in the hazardous(classified) location was of the type and design that would provide protection from the hazards arising from the combustibility and flammability of vapors, liquids, gases, dusts, or other fibers involved:  (a)	On or about February 11, 2021, for the employee exposed to explosion hazards resulting in second degree burns when a battery operated Dewalt Impact Driver ignited flammable vapors emitted from a produced water trailer where the employer allowed the open tanker to be ventilated inside the shop creating an explosive atmosphere at or near 1691 124th Avenue NW in Watford City, North Dakota.

29 CFR  1910.1200(h)(1):The Employer did not ensure that employees were provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:  (a)	On or about February 11, 2021, for the employee exposed to a flash fire where production water Safety Data Sheets and training were not provided prior to commencing work on a produced water tanker at or near 1691 124th Avenue NW in Watford City, North Dakota.
