29 CFR OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employee(s):  The employer is failing to protect employees from exposure to struck by and fall hazards.  This most recently occurred when maintenance employees performing tree-trimming operations, from an aerial lift, were cutting a branch too large to support by hand when it split, fell, and knocked down the aerial lift resulting in employee injuries.
