29 CFR  OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a burn hazard while utilizing an LP tank melting pot kettle.  a) In the manufacturing area, on or about May 14, 2021, an employee was heating up zinc to a molten state when the employee fell and knocked over the kettle splashing molten zinc onto his back. Employee suffered 2nd and 3rd degrees that required skin grafts. It is a recognized hazard that molten metal will cause burns when displaced.
