29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a) Finishing Department: On or about 6/9/2021, during the grinding operations the inker, spindle and grinder of the Chevalier - Lathe Plus (CNC) with an attached Grinder (Number: X1855001) were not guarded, exposing employees to caught-in and struck-by hazards created by rotating parts and ingoing nip points.  b) Finishing Department: On or about 6/9/2021, during the grinding operations the inker, spindle and grinder of the Chevalier - Lathe Plus (CNC) with an attached Grinder (Number: X1866009) were not guarded, exposing employees to caught-in and struck-by hazards created by rotating parts and ingoing nip points.  c) Finishing Department: On or about 6/9/2021, during the polishing operations the inker and  spindle of the Chevalier - Lathe Plus (CNC) with an attached Grinder (Number: X1855001) were not guarded, exposing employees to caught-in hazards created by rotating parts.    d) Finishing Department: On or about 6/9/2021, during the polishing operations the inker and  spindle of the Chevalier - Lathe Plus (CNC) with an attached Grinder (Number: X1866009) were not guarded, exposing employees to caught-in hazards created by rotating parts.
