29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   (a)Bill Buus Construction at 7437 East Twin Pine Court in Sioux Falls, SD 57110: On or about and at times prior to June 21, 2021, the exposing employer did not ensure employees were protected from fall hazards in that employees did not utilize appropriate fall protection methods when setting roof trusses on a residential home. Employees were observed standing on the exterior top plate and being exposed to fall hazards to the interior when standing on trusses.   This condition exposed employees to fall hazards in excess of 9 feet.   Bill Buus Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1596425, citation number 1 , item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on January 6, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 4212 South Sawtooth Trail in Sioux Falls, SD 57110.
