29 CFR  OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to the toxic and fire hazards of anhydrous ammonia :  a) Old Compressor Room: On or about July 21, 2021, and at times prior thereto, maintenance workers were exposed to potential release of anhydrous ammonia when performing work on a system with unlabeled piping.  b) Withdrawn  c) Old Compressor Room: On or about July 21, 2021, and at times prior thereto, holes in the roof did not protect the ammonia equipment from corrosion and damage from the outside environment.  d) Old Compressor Room: On or about July 21, 2021, production workers were exposed to potential anhydrous ammonia release from the compressor room where pipe penetrations were not completely sealed.  e) Old Compressor Room: On or about July 21, 2021, maintenance and other workers were exposed to potential anhydrous ammonia release in the compressor room without an ammonia monitor to detect a release and estimate airborne levels of ammonia in the room.
