29 CFR 1910.94(a)(5)(v): Operators were not equipped with heavy canvas or leather gloves and aprons or equivalent protection to protect them from the impact of abrasives: Sandblasting area in yard: Employees were performing sandblasting activities wearing standard disposable Tyvek coveralls and cotton gloves. Employees were exposed to the impact of the abrasive blasting media.

29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): Employees using tight-fitting facepiece respirators were not fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator, whenever a different respirator facepiece (size, style, model or make) was used, and at least annually thereafter: Sandblasting area in yard: Sandblasters were wearing 3M full-face respirators without annual fit tests. The sandblasters were exposed to respiratory hazards.
