1926.702(j)(1): Employees were permitted to perform maintenance or repair activity on equipment (such as compressors mixers, screens or pumps used for concrete and masonry construction activities) where the equipment could cause injury, unless all potentially hazardous energy sources have been eliminated by use of the lock out/tag out procedures.  On or about January 13, 2022, and times prior thereto, an employee placed his hand near an energized belt pulley on a concrete screed before all potential hazardous energy sources had been eliminated.
