29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2):Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: (a) Kitchen, Pasta Processing Room - On or about, April 6, 2022, kitchen workers were exposed to an electrical shock hazard from the 120 volt surge protector power strip used to provide power to a wine cooler (refrigerator) in an industrial kitchen. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).

29 CFR 1910.304(b)(4)(ii)(B): Where connected to a branch circuit supplying two or more receptacles or outlets, a receptacle supplied a total cord- and plug-connected load in excess of the maximum specified in Table S-4: (a) Kitchen, Pasta Processing Room - On or about April 6, 2022, cord sets plugged into the 12 amp outlets in a surge protector power strip overloaded the capacity of the power strip outlets, in that, one of the cord sets powered a 120 volt Cavavin commercial wine chiller which operates at 15 Amps. according to the manufacturer's equipment manual. 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
