29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical agents:  At 14472 S. Haskins St., Kansas, employees were exposed to struck by hazards not wearing eye protection while using  pneumatic nail guns.  Best KC Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1541645, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 10-06-2021, with respect to a workplace located at 17041 Barton, Overland Park, KS.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502:   At 14472 S. Haskins St. in Olathe, Kansas, employees were exposed to fall hazards.  Employees engaged in residential framing activities, walking the top plates, were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 16 feet 5 inches to the exterior ground below in that fall protection was not utilized.  Best KC Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1541645, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on 10-06-2021, with respect to a workplace located at 17041 Barton, Overland Park, KS.

Haskins St. Olathe, Kansas, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards.  Employees engaged in framing and ground work activities were exposed to struck-by hazards from falling tools or materials in that hard hats were not provided.  Best KC Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1541645, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10-06-2021, with respect to a workplace located at 17041 Barton, Overland Park, KS.
