1926.21(b)(2); The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury. On or about May 17, 2022, at the job site, an employee was in use of a power cut-off saw with a guard that was not operational when the saw was in use. This exposed the employee to an amputation hazard.
