29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): The employer did not prohibit a tight-fitting facepiece to be worn by employees who had facial hair that comes between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face: (a) 47 Park Ave, Elverson, PA, - On or about June 14, 2022, the employer did not ensure that an employee did not have facial hair interfering with the seal of the respirators. The employee is required to wear Honeywell 7700 3M half-face respirator with P100 filters during metal grinding activities.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the maintenance area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a & b) 47 Park Ave, Elverson, PA, - On or about June 14, 2022, the employer did not provide one or methods of machine guarding to protect employees from point of operation hazards. Employees were required to use drill presses without chuck or chip guards, thereby exposing employees to rotating parts and flying particles.
