29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):  Types of guarding. One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks.  Examples of guarding methods are-barrier guards, two-hand tripping devices, electronic safety devices, etc:  a)  In the blowing area, located at 308 Glenwood Road, Swainsboro, GA 30401, on or about July 8, 2022, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to caught in hazards, in that a guard for the air handler on China #1 was not adequately secured.  b)  In the blowing area, located at 308 Glenwood Road, Swainsboro, GA 30401, on or about July 8, 2022, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to caught in hazards, in that a guard for the air handler on China #2 was not installed.  c)  In the blowing area, located at 308 Glenwood Road, Swainsboro, GA 30401, on or about July 8, 2022, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to caught in hazards, in that a guard for the air handler on China #4 was not installed.  d)  In the blowing area, located at 308 Glenwood Road, Swainsboro, GA 30401, on or about July 8, 2022, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to caught in hazards, in that a guard for the air handler on China #5 was not installed.

29 CFR 1904.41(a)(2):  The establishment had 20 or more employees but fewer than 250 employees at any time during the previous calendar year, and the establishment was classified in an industry listed in appendix A to subpart E of this part, and the employer did not electronically submit information from OSHA Form 300A Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses to OSHA or OSHA's designee by the specified date:  a)   At 308 Glenwood Road, Swainsboro, GA 30401, on or about March 2, 2022, the employer failed to electronically submit information from their OSHA Form 300A, Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses or equivalent form, for calendar year 2021 on or before March 2, 2022.  The establishment employed 86 employees during calendar year 2021 and was classified under NAICS code 314999.
