29 CFR  1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:  a) Tonnard Manufacturing Corporation, Bay 5 Tech cool dispensing area, on or about August 11th, 2022 and times prior thereto:  Employees worked with and around corrosive chemicals including, but not limited to, Tech Cool 35120NB during the addition of the coolant to the mills in the Bay 5 work area.  Employees did not have access within the immediate work area to a suitable eyewash station.  In addition, the plumbed eyewash station at the facility was inspected monthly versus weekly.   b) Tonnard Manufacturing Corporation, various areas in bay 3, on or about August 11th, 2022 and times prior thereto:  Employees worked with and around corrosive chemicals including, but not limited to, Prodraw 365 during the application of the product to parts in the bay 3 work area. Employees did not have access within the immediate work area to a suitable eyewash station.  In addition, the plumbed eyewash station at the facility was inspected monthly versus weekly.   c) Tonnard Manufacturing Corporation, various areas in bay 3, on or about August 11th, 2022 and times prior thereto: Employees worked with and around corrosive chemicals including, but not limited to, Prodraw 365. The plumbed eyewash station at the facility was inspected monthly versus weekly.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR  1910.133(a)(1): Protective eye equipment was not required where there was a reasonable probability of injury that could be prevented by such equipment:  a) Tonnard Manufacturing Corporation, various areas in bay 3, on or about August 11th, 2022 and times prior thereto:  Employees worked with and around corrosive chemicals including, but not limited to, Prodraw 365 during the application of the product to parts in the bay 3 work area.  An employee that performed work operations with these chemicals did not utilize appropriate eye protection.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR  1910.1200(h)(1):Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:  a) Tonnard Manufacturing Corporation, various production area, on or about August 11th, 2022 and times prior thereto:  Employees worked with and around hazardous substances including, but not limited to, Tech Cool 35120NB, and Prodraw 365 during work operations onsite.  The employer did not provide hazard communication training for all employees who worked with and around hazardous substances.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
