29 CFR 1910.28(c): When an employee is exposed to falling objects, the employer did not ensure that each employee wears head protection that meets the requirements of subpart I of this part, and/or the employer did not protect employees from falling objects by implementing one or more of the following methods listed in 1910.28(c)(1)-(3): a) Worksite, 42 Timberwick Drive, Halfmoon, NY - On or about August 11, 2022, an employee was walking below overhead tree work and did not have head protection from falling tree limbs. b) Worksite, 42 Timberwick Drive, Halfmoon, NY - On or about August 11, 2022, the employer did not protect employees from falling objects, such as a tree limb being cut and being allowed to freefall, by implementing barricading the area into which objects could fall and prohibiting employees from entering the barricaded area.
