Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b):   a-#102 Linwood Ave, Paramus NJ 0723:   An employee engaged in framing activities on a 6 on 12 pitched roof was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 20ft to the asphalt below in which a means of fall protection had not been utilized. Condition observed on or about 09/10/2022

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to upper landing surfaces, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladders were used to gain access.   a-#102 Linwood Ave, Paramus NJ 0723:   An employee engaged in framing activities using a portable extension ladder and exposed to fall hazards of approximately 20ft to the asphalt below as the ladder side rails did not extend 3ft above the upper landing surface. Condition observed on or about 09/10/2022
