OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm in that employees were exposed to crushing hazards: a) Charles River Laboratories located at 1407 George Road, Ashland, Ohio, 44805: On or about September 20, 2022, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from crushing hazards while operating off highway vehicles (Polaris Ranger 570 EFI). Maintenance employees utilizing the off-highway vehicle throughout the employer's campus without the benefit of the vehicle's occupant retention systems, approved occupant protective gear, or utilization of vehicle cab nets and/or doors were exposed to crushing hazards.
