OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees including injuries due to crushing and amputation hazards: a.) At the work site, on or about October 29, 2022, the employer did not ensure the Kannegiesser water extraction press ram was blocked during the membrane change operation, to prevent the employees' hands from being crushed between the extractor basket and ram plate.
