29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  The employer was failing to protect employees from fall hazards. This was most recently documented on November 22, 2022 west of the B Avenue and Highway 75 intersection, Winnebago, Nebraska where employees were working on a suspended platform. The employees were installing rebar ties on a pier while working at a height of approximately 10 feet above the ground without fall protection and without guarding on all four sides of the suspended platform.

This was most recently documented on November 22, 2022 west of the B Avenue and Highway 75 intersection, Winnebago, Nebraska where employees were hoisted by a crane on a platform normally used a walking bridge. The employees were installing rebar ties on a pier while working on a crane suspended platform what does not meet the requirements for hoisting personnel.
