OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that the employees stood on the cab platform of a front-end loader as is was driven parallel to a tractor-trailer exposing employees to fall, struck-by and crushing hazards:   a) Local Waste Services located at 1300 S. Columbus Airport Rd, Columbus, OH 43207: On and preceding December 13, 2022, employees were exposed to fall, struck-by and crushing hazards while standing on the cab platform of a Hitachi ZW 370 Front end loader as it was being driven next to a semi tractor-trailer that was loaded with solid waste. The employer did not ensure safe working conditions in the transfer area, where employees rode on the cab platform of the front-end loader. The outside platform of the front-end loader cab was not designed for personnel to ride on during operation.
