29 CFR  1910.332(b)(1):Employees were not trained in and familiar with the safety-related work practices required by 1910.331 through 1910.335 that pertained to their respective job assignments:  (a) Carbo Load Building Department, on December 13, 2022, the employer did not provide training to maintenance employees on safety related work practices that pertained to their respective job assignments such as working on live electrical equipment or troubleshooting on live electrical parts.

29 CFR  1910.335(a)(1)(i):Employees working in areas where there were potential electrical hazards were not provided with electrical protective equipment that was appropriate for the specific parts of the body that needed to be protected and for the work being performed:  (a) Carbo Load Building Department, on or about December 13, 2022, the employer did not ensure that employees troubleshooting on a 480 volt live electrical panel while using a Fluke 179 True-RMS Digital Multimeter were wearing electrical protective equipment, such as volt rated gloves.   (b) Carbo Load Building Department, on or about December 13, 2022, the employer did not ensure that employees troubleshooting on a 480 volt live electrical panel while using a Fluke 179 True-RMS Digital Multimeter were wearing electrical protective equipment, such as eye and face protection.  (c) Carbo Load Building Department, on or about December 13, 2022, the employer did not ensure that employees troubleshooting on a 480 volt live electrical panel while using a Fluke 179 True-RMS Digital Multimeter wore were wearing electrical protective equipment, such as fire retardant clothing.
