29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about November 18, 2022 the employer did not ensure that effective machine guarding was in place on the Bystronic Laserview p8806c "6K" laser cutting line. The automatic table which travels in and out of the laser cutting area was not equipped with guarding to protect employees from the pinch point created between the moving table and structure itself.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(D):Flexible cords and cables were used where attached to building surfaces: On or about December 15, 2022 the employer failed to ensure that electrical cords were not used when attached or ran through building surfaces. The flexible cord supplying power to a fan in the welding booth was ran through and attached to structural framing.
