29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2):Each exit must be clearly visible and marked by a sign reading "Exit." On or about June 22, 2022, and at times thereto, in the upstairs motor storage area, employees worked in the area where an exit door was not marked to indicate it as an exit. The door led to the outside of the building and was used as an emergency exit.

29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1):Employees must be able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge. A device such as a panic bar that locks only from the outside is permitted on exit discharge doors. On or about June 22,2022, and at times prior thereto, in the motor storage area upstairs, an exit door was equipped with a padlock and required a key to exit.. The door lead to the outside of the building. This exposed employees to a delay in exiting should there be an emergency and that exit door needed to be used.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iii): flexible cords may not be used in permanent installations as specified in (A) through (E) below On or about June 22, 2022 and at times prior thereto, in the upstairs motor storage area, attached to a storage rack in the middle of the room, employees used extension cords as a permanent wiring to supply power to a portable fan. This exposed employees to electrical hazards.
