29 CFR 1910.95(d)(1):When information indicated that any employee's exposure equaled or exceed the 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels, the employer did not develop and implement a monitoring program: Employees engaged in welding activities at the flatbed and dump trailer buildings are exposed to noise related health hazards when exposure levels were above the eight-hour time-weighted average (8-hour TWA) action level (AL) of 85 dBA. The employer has not implemented a monitoring program. 1) At the flatbed building, employee #1 was exposed to an 8-hour TWA of 91 dBA. 2) At the flatbed building, employee #2 was exposed to an 8-hour TWA exposure of 87.2 dBA. 3) At the dump trailer building, employee #3 was exposed to an 8-hour TWA exposure of 89.8 dBA. 4) At the dump trailer building, employee #4 was exposed to an 8-hour TWA exposure was 89.5 dBA.
