29 CFR 1910.1026(d)(1):The employer with a workplace or work operation covered by this standard did not determine the 8-hour time-weighted average exposure for each employee exposed to chromium (VI): (a) On or about February 7, 2023, in the production area, where employees were engaged in welding on stainless steel, the employer did not assess employee exposures to chromium (VI) [hexavalent chromium or Cr(VI)] including but not limited to determining of the extent and degree of exposure, identifying and preventing employee overexposure, and identifying of the sources of exposure to Cr(VI).
