29 CFR 1926.251(c)(16): Wire rope slings did not have permanently affixed, legible identification markings stating size, rated capacity for the type(s) of hitch(es) used and the angle upon which it is based, and the number of legs if more than one. (a) On or about March 10, 2023, employees were exposed to a crushed by hazard when a two-leg wire rope sling attached to the ball hook of the crane was found without any permanently affixed markings.
