29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by rotating parts and flying chips: a) On or about March 20, 2023, and at times prior thereto, in the machine shop area, employees were exposed to rotating material and flying chips on the unguarded 70-042 Victor lathe. c) On or about March 20, 2023, and at times prior thereto, in the machine shop area, employees were exposed to rotating parts and flying chips on the 70-044 Bridgeport Milling Machine with a damaged guard. d) On or about March 20, 2023, and at times prior thereto, in the machine shop area, employees were exposed to rotating parts and flying chips on the unguarded Dayton Drill Press, SN 072100332.
