29 CFR  1910.106(e)(6)(ii): Category 1 or 2 flammable liquids, or Category 3 flammable liquids with a flashpoint below 100 �F (37.8 �C), were dispensed into containers without the nozzle and container being electrically interconnected(bonded).  a)Protec Secure Card LLC, 80 Corbett Way Eatontown, NJ 07724: On or about 4/7/2023, the company permitted the transfer of a flammable liquid (MRK IV Roller Kleener) from container to a another container and they were not electrically interconnected (bonded). This hazard exposed the employees to a fire/explosion hazard.   a)Protec Secure Card LLC, 80 Corbett Way Eatontown, NJ 07724:  On or about 4/7/2023, the company permitted the transfer of a flammable liquid (Isopropyl Alcohol) from the container to a plastic pale when the containers were not electrically interconnected (bonded). This hazard exposed the employees to a fire/explosion hazard.   NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. 29 CFR  1910.134(c)(1):A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for voluntary respirator use:  (a)Protec Secure Card LLC, 80 Corbett Way Eatontown, NJ 07724: On or about 4/7/2023, the employer did not develop and implement a written respiratory protection program with worksite-specific procedures for the voluntary respirator use that included all provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix). The employer allowed a Paint Mixer, to wear a 3M half face elastomeric respirator when mixing UV paints and cleaning the tools with MRK IV  and Isopropyl Alcohol throughout their shifts.   NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
