OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1) The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees (a) 307 Twin Springs Court, New Holland, PA - On or about April 26, 2023, employees were performing installation and maintenance work without complete fall protection or fall restraint systems. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.30(a)(1): The employer did not provide training for each employee who uses personal fall protection systems or who is required to be trained as specified elsewhere in this subpart before any employee is exposed to a fall hazard. And/or the employer did not ensure employees are trained in the requirements of this paragraph on or before May 17, 2017: (a) 307 Twin Springs Court, New Holland, PA - On or about April 26, 2023, the employer did not ensure that employees who were exposed to fall hazards while working from the roof of the American LaFrance ladder fire trucks, which was 8 feet above a lower level, had received fall protection training prior to being exposed to the fall hazard. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
