29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:  a) At 1 Old Ferry Rd, Shalimar FL. 32579 : On or about June 7, 2023 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to operate pneumatic nail guns and circular saws without eye protection while installing planks on the roof exposing his employees to struck-by hazards.  Best Construction AAA LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1585450, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 06/16/22, with respect to a workplace located at 4 9th Ave E, Shalimar, Florida.  Best Construction AAA LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1556684, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/17/21, with respect to a workplace located at 800 W Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, Florida.

Best Construction AAA LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1630832, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/07/23, with respect to a workplace located at 4 9th Ave E, Shalimar Florida. 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:  a) At 1 Old Ferry Rd, Shalimar FL. 32579: On or about June 7, 2023 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to use extension ladders to gain access to the roof and the rails of the ladders did not extend at least three feet above the roof landing to provide safe access exposing his employees to a fall hazard of up to 9 feet to the ground below.
