29 CFR 1910.332(b)(1): Employees were not trained in and familiar with the safety-related work practices required by 1910.331 through 1910.335 that pertained to their respective job assignments: a) Deverell Farm, Chicken House 1: On or about June 17, 2023, the employer exposed an employee to electrocution hazards, in that the employee was not trained and familiar with maintaining a 10 feet clearance from an overhead 14,000 volts (14kV) power line while operating a "Kenworth" model T8 truck with trailer hauler and 30 feet boom assembly (serial number 8175) to transfer chicken feed to a silo.

29 CFR 1910.333(c)(3)(iii)(A):Vehicles or mechanical equipment capable of having parts of their structures elevated near energized overhead lines were not operated so that a clearance of 10 feet (305 cm) was maintained: a) Deverell Farm, Chicken House 1: On or about June 17, 2023, the employer exposed an employee to electrocution hazards, in that the 30 feet boom assembly of a trailer hauler (serial number 8175) was not operated in such a manner so as to maintain at least 10 feet of clearance from an overhead 14,000 volts (14 kV) power line while operating a "Kenworth" model T8 truck with trailer hauler and 30 feet boom assembly to transfer chicken feed to a silo.
