29 CFR  1910.269(b)(1)(i): Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid training when performing work on or associated with exposed lines or equipment energized at 50 volts or more, persons were not trained in first aid including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) were not available:   a)  On or about August 17, 2023, and at times prior thereto, where employees who were performing tree trimming operations around overhead power lines did not have the assistance of a first aid trained employee.

Where lines are to be de-energized, arrangements were not made with the person or organization that operates or controls the electric circuits involved to de-energize and ground them.  a)  On or about August 17, 2023, and times prior thereto, employees were exposed to electrical hazards while working near overhead power lines with 7,200 volts that were not de-energized and grounded prior to the work beginning.

(305 cm) to any unguarded, energized overhead line:   a)  On or about August 17, 2023, and times prior there, unqualified employees were exposed to electrical hazards while working within 10 feet of 7,200 volts of energized overhead power lines in an elevated position.
