29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On October 4, 2023, employees performing stucco work were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12.3 feet. Chicago Stucco Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926. 501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1632519, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on February 16, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 515 Central Ave, Wilmette, IL 60091. Chicago Stucco Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926. 501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1346660, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on February 5, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 2414 Hartrey Ave., Evanston, IL 60201. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
