29 CFR 1910.134(i)(1)(ii): Breathing air did not meet requirements for Grade D breathing air as described in the ANSI/Compressed Gas Association Commodity Specification G-7.1-1989: a) On or about October 17, 2023, the employer did not ensure the breathing air supplied to the supplied air respirators used in the paint department blast booth met the requirements for Grade D breathing air in that the employer did not calibrate the Air Systems International Carbon Monoxide Airline Monitor (Model No. CO-91) sensor at a frequency in accordance with the manufacturer instructions, which specifies monthly calibration. b) On or about October 9, 2023, the employer did not ensure that the breathing air supplied to the supplied air respirator used in the paint booth on the batch line met the requirements for Grade D breathing air in that the employer did not calibrate carbon monoxide sensors of the Allegro supplied air filter system at a frequency in accordance in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
