An employee's exposure, as determined from breathing-zone air samples, to any substance in Table 1 or 2 of this section with a permissible exposure limit not preceded by (C) must not exceed the limit specified for that substance measured as an 8-hour time-weighted average in any work shift.  a) On or about November 3, 2023, at the worksite located at 5878 Parkview Ln Milford, OH 45150, an employee installing a residential garage door was exposed to Carbon Monoxide produced by a Chicago Pneumatic 7000 Watt gasoline-powered generator at a level of 226.3 ppm as an 8 hour Time Weighted Average, approximately 4.53 times the OSHA PEL of 50 ppm. This exposure was determined by Carboxyhemoglobin calculations over 480 minutes.
