29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1): Employee(s) were not able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge:  On or about November 15, 2023, the employer did not ensure employees are able to open the exit route door from the inside at all times without special tools or knowledge. Employees working in the facility were exposed to a potential fire hazard from the emergency exit doors being locked from the inside with deadbolts in the following instances:   A) Emergency exit door in the shipping and receiving area directly next to the bay door was affixed with a deadbolt lock located on the inside of the door requiring special knowledge to open in the event of an emergency.   B) Emergency exit door in main office conference room directly affixed with a deadbolt lock located on the inside of the door requiring special knowledge to open in the event of an emergency.
