29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(ii): The required working space about electric equipment rated 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground, was used for storage: (a) In the rear of the store at 3618 Highway 138 SE, Stockbridge, GA: On or about November 27, 2023, and times prior, employees were exposed to an electrical shock and/or fire hazard, in that a panelboard switch, main switch, and electrical panels, were obstructed by store merchandise and other items, preventing access to breakers. If there was a need to access the breakers, it would delay the response to an emergency. The Kroger Company was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.303 (g)(1)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1613884, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 11-16-2022, with respect to a workplace located at 6030 Stetson Hills Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80922. The Kroger Company, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.303 (g)(1)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1408024, citation number 1, item number 1b, and was affirmed as a final order on 8-22-2019, with respect to a workplace located at 1212 Lafayette Ave, Moundsville, WV 26041.

(a) In the receiving area of the store at 3618 Highway 138 SE, Stockbridge, GA: On or about November 27, 2023, a fire extinguisher was blocked by items such as boxes and poles. In the event of an emergency, the fire extinguisher would not have been readily accessible to employees. (b) At the Phone/Data hub station at 3618 Highway 138 SE, Stockbridge, GA: On or about November 27, 2023, and times prior, employee(s) were exposed to electrical shock and/or fire hazard(s), in that the phone/data hub station did not have a cover, door, or faceplate. The employer used the phone/data hub station to power WIFI and phone networks within the facility.
