Employee training shall include at least:   (iii) The measures employees can take to protect themselves from these hazards, including specific procedures the employer has implemented to protect employees from exposure to hazardous chemicals, such as appropriate work practices, emergency procedures, and personal protective equipment to be used;   a) On or about 11/28/2023, the employer did not ensure that employees working in the two operational bay areas had been trained on the specific procedures and work practices for filling the 100lb propane cylinder included how to conduct leak test prior to use with the propane torch. Nor did the employer ensure that employees were trained on how to read the stamp information such as the meaning of the S stamp (S markings indicate that the tanks were proof pressure tested and must be requalified within 10 years), water capacity of 239 gallons, and the tare weight of 68lbs on the 100lb propane cylinder that was overfilled on 11/28/23.
