29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16)(iii): Personal fall arrest systems, when stopping a fall, were not rigged such that an employee could not free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m) nor contact any lower level: (a) On or about December 6, 2023, at or near the job site located at 315 27th Circle South, Fargo, North Dakota, employees were exposed to fall hazards while installing sheet metal roofing panels along the gable edge of the roof while using retractable lifelines that would allow employees the potential to free fall more than 6 feet and/or contact the lower level. Note: This company was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1445936, Citation 1, Item 2-a, and was affirmed as a final order on January 22, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at E9993 County Road P, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.
