29 CFR 1910.95(k)(3)(ii): The employer did not ensure that each employee was informed of the purpose of hearing protectors, the advantages, disadvantages, and attenuation of various types, and instructions on selection, fitting, use and care:   a.) 701 East Liden Street, Richland, PA - Truss Line 3 -  on or about December 8, 2023 - Employees were exposed to noise above the action level of 85 dBA during wood truss manufacturing activities, and did not apply training on the use of hearing protection.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

1910.1200(h)(3)(iii)  Employee training did not include the measures employees can take to protect themselves from chemical hazards, including specific procedures the employer had implemented to protect employees from exposure to hazardous chemicals, such as appropriate work practices, emergency procedures and personal protective equipment to be used:  a.) 701 East Liden Street, Richland, PA - Company Wide - Employees engaged in wood and synthetic building materials manufacturing were exposed to hazardous chemicals including, but not limited to, combustible dusts. The employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on combustible dusts and organic compounds in their work area, on or about December 8, 2023.   Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
